HOFER family & school marathon for everybody

INVITATION
Family and school marathon is an event, intended for families with children, schools and entry level cyclists. The goal of the event is to promote an active lifestyle and values in sport such as friendship and solidarity. The event is suitable for the whole family.

This year Franja Partisan Hospital will give out a free ticket to visit hospital to each registered family.

Expected number of participants: 2.500-3.000.

DATE: Saturday, 10.6.2017 at 16:00

PLACE: BTC City, Ljubljana

LENGHT: 24 km
CHILDREN'S COURSE: 1.450m which starts after the start of the Family Marathon at 16:45.

CYCLING ROUTE
The route is completely flat and goes from BTC CITY to Domžale and back to BTC CITY. Half way is a refreshment point.

ORGANIZER
Cycling club Rog within »My Sport is Franja«. With the support of the Erasmus+ programme of the European Union.

SPECIAL AWARD
Special attention is given to organized groups of children from elementary schools. The largest group will receive an award.

SAFETY
As safety is of utmost importance, the roads will be completely closed for all traffic so you can enjoy a nice cycling excursion around Ljubljana with your children. A helmet is obligatory.
